I made a round to check out the signs about 3pm this aft (Wed) and found 5
of the original 10 still in place, as follows: the two on Mermorial and the two
on I45 North were gone, as was the one on Mandel over the SWFwy facing outbound
traffic. Strangely however the one on Mandel facing inbound traffic is
still there, as are both on the Allen Parkway pedestrian crossing, the one
on Elgin over 288 facing outbound, and the one on Tuam over 288 facing
inbound traffic. The Allen Parkway signs are extremely visible.
It's amazing 5 our of 10 are still there, and they surely can't last much
longer. It would be very, very much appreciated if someone could get a
pic of one or two of them before they go. Thanks and VISUALIZE
IMPEACHMENT!

It was too dark to take pictures
last night, and I almost never go out that way during the day. I hope
someone with a telephoto lens can get pictures (not while you are driving, of
course) of at least one of the signs during the day and send it to us and to
the freeway bloggers at http://www.freewayblogger.com/. They have some
other great photos there.
