Rally for city service workers
2 p.m. downtown at Jones Plaza, 10 Nov.

Last fall, 5,300 janitors won a better future for themselves and their families. Now the janitors are leading the fight for better pay, healthcare, and dignity on the job for ALL service workers in Houston.

This rally will bring together Houston service workers from building services, commercial office building janitors, and food service workers.

The program will include worker testimonies, remarks by community and political leaders, and spoken word and social justice poetry.
