Discussion about Kucinich’s articles of impeachment; Willie writing OpEd addressing response to impeachment resolutions at democratic convention

Motion to approve $100 for printing costs to remove Sheriff Tommy Thomas rally June 23; passed by acclamation

Eyes Wide Open display of flags; boots; crosses at Discovery Green Park Saturday & Sunday, June 14-15 – Bill, Cheryl & Ray volunteered to help set up display at 6 a.m.; CLT volunteered to break down on Sunday.

Green Party to have convention at Shape, Almeda & Alabama this weekend, June 14-15; motion for PAA to buy table to display wares passed by acclamation. Willie, Bill and CLT to help staff the table.

Motion for PAA to participate in statewide website hub proposition passed by acclamation.

New co-chair needed: Kathleen Kain stepping down to assist; Bart Boyce & Boulos Nader nominated, seconded and passed by acclamation

Discussion about dwindling female participation in PAA; females angry men failed to stop war; women put off by angry men; change too slow coming; kudos to those who’ve had tenacity to freeway blog; Mahatma Gandhi First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you when win; women who used to participate still aligned to change but pursuing it elsewhere;

Discussion about elections sucking all the oxygen and deluding participants that change really will occur

Juneteenth Celebration 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Miller Theatre, help distribute fliers/posters and bring loads of friends/family to celebrate and hear fab music

Central City Coop sponsoring a farmers market ev. 4-6 p.m. Thursday evenings at Discovery Green Park

Joe Icet’s Last Organic Outpost Center, 1719 Live Oak Unit C, Houston Tx. 77003, Saturday, June 14 all day/night

Gilad Atzmon, musician, coming to Houston, Jan. 2009. Robert moves PAA sponsor Atzmon and provide support/plan venue, housing for him while here. Bart, Don will help Robert.

Houston Area Table Tuesday, June 17,, 3115 Allen Parkway, Ste. 300 wit Jack Valinski; Annise Parker and Ray Hill. Presenting on organizing and building community.
