The program and workshop
are sponsored by the
Decade of Nonviolence - Houston, as well
as by our host organization, the Soka Gakkai International.
The workshop consists of five modules, four hours each in
length, that are to be
held on each Sunday in October.
The five modules follow a logical flow from exploring
violence to planning for
action nonviolently:
1. Exploring Violence
2. Exploring Nonviolence
3. Community Building
4. Social Change Movements
5. Action Planning
This is a terrific opportunity to learn and/or enhance your skills in
nonviolent communication and action; as well as to add a variety of "tools" to
your activist toolbox.
More information is available in the brochure, which you
can request from Paul at escramble('Myers','sbcglobal.net');">P., Leslie at escramble('Leslie','datatudeinc.com');">.
