[FWD] Granny D Address to Youth Today

Truly inspiring.

For those of you who might not remember: Granny D *walked* across
the US in the last Presidential Election to get people to register
to vote.

Yes, she WALKED 1000s of miles.

The kicker: she was 83 when she did the walk.

I got to see her in person in Boston at the DNC; when she spoke you
could barely see her hat over the podium. But her voice was clear, her
thoughts and speech eloquent, and her message very focussed: we have
work to do!

So here's to optimism!
