this is gross - Rick Perry and Strayhorn are "switchers"! gag me with a spoon (bet you haven't heard that in a while).

this isn't too different from Nagin (Mayor of New Orleans) - 10 days prior to the deadline to file for his candidacy changed his party affiliation from Republican to Democrat just to get elected.
