Melissa Taylor is new HCDP director

Great news, everyone! Melissa Taylor has been named the new
Director of Party Administration of the Harris County Democratic
Party, replacing Susan Gates, who departed last July to relocate to
Portland, Oregon.

Melissa was active in the Howard Dean presidential campaign, has been
active in protests of US involvement in Iraq, and is currently on the
steering committee for Democracy for Houston
http://democracyforhouston.org . She is a true progressive and
should be a great director to help the Harris Co. Democratic Party
move in the correct (not right) direction.
