International Peace Conference organized by the "Stop the War Coalition" this
weekend in London.  This historic event, which I participated in, that

on the third anniversary of the war March 18-19, 2005.  There are hotlinks

Dear Friends of Peace and Nonviolence

Thank you!- thank you! for all your efforts for
Peace and to stop the destruction and killing in Iraq.

FYI - we have started a Florida
Department of Peace and Nonviolence - Think Tank
.

We would like to share three of the five programs
that will help your efforts - two of them are already
underway:

color=#0000ff>FIRST the
establishment of a Florida Department of Peace and Nonviolence [FDOPAN] - this
legislation will be introduced to the Florida Legislature in 2006;
it mirror images the DOP initiatives of href="http://www.thePeaceAlliance.org">www.thePeaceAlliance.org.

See legislation - should you want to take the same
action in your state...suggest that your state team rewrite/draft your own
state S&R Bill re: href="http://www.thepeacealliance.org/read_bill.htm">http://www.thepeacealliance.org/read_bill.htm

color=#0000ff>SECOND - we are organizing and
designing "TEN** TREE TRAILS for PEACE" a.k.a. Peace Parks ... face=Arial size=2>A "Peace Park" is a park that has a Peace
Trail...

The planting of small seedling will start this
Spring in Florida at the Florida Coalition for Peace and Justice teaching farm
north of Gainesville*.

Each tree to be in honor of Peacemakers
i.e.,  Gandhi, President Carter, MLK Jr. see Google for the Noble Peace
Prize winners and plant some for local - CommUNITY Peacemakers ....

The idea is simple - select a Metro Park near you
to start - find a path in that park with benches - or room for benches
to be installed later - have the children from the nearest schools plant the
PEACE and NONVIOLENCE Trees infront of the benches.

Have them select the Peacemakers of each
tree and the quote they like to go with each separate Peace Tree...and place a
quote near the trees they plant.

**An very inexpensive source of "TEN"
TREES are available at:

FYI we are asking the following agencies to plant a
Peace Trail in the National Arboretum, see:

http://www.usna.usda.gov
href="http://www.fona.org">http://www.fona.org

color=#0000ff>THIRD - we strongly
urge all to discuss when, why and how we - the world, the historians name
wars.

We want the War in Iraq or be forever named the
Bush Cheney War.

We believe that naming wars after the people who
start them is a critical action toward Peace.
size=2>We also urge that past wars be reviewed to determine who and why they
were started - but most improtant WHO was responsible - who was the one
person that started that War - and why - example the Saddam War - the
Invasion of Kuwait...etc...The Vietnam War ... the USA Civil War...the Bush
Chaney War ...

With prayers for Pacem on Earth
