Impeach & Peace Sign Making Party

Event Description:

The smell of impeachment and peace are in the air, and we want to do our part to get more people thinking about it. Bring those political yard signs you yanked up after the election, along with large pieces of cardboard or old sheets, and join us as we convert them into signs promoting getting out of Iraq, and impeachment. This will go on regardless of weather, in Bill & Cheryl Crosier's peace sign-painting laboratory (garage).

We'll either paint over the signs with white paint then paint new slogans on them, or cover them with paper signs. Then you can take 'em with you and plant them wherever you want, or bring large signs for freeway blogging.

Painting several coats will take a while, but if you can't stay for the whole sign-making party (or for any of it), at least please bring your signs before we start if at all possible so we can get started on their transformation. You can even drop off signs the day before, if you can't come on Sunday, even if we aren't home.

For those who can stay through dinner on Sunday, we can order some pizza or Chinese food or munch on whatever pot-luck dishes you feel like bringing. This will give us more time for the paint to dry.

Be sure to wear old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting paint on.
