Charlie Mauch and I went to see Diane Wilson Sunday. Very depressing. No windows in the Victoria County Jail. Visitors and she have to peer at each other through small rectangular porthole with glass six inches thick while talking on closed phone line. One small, round metal stool fastened to the floor on the visitors side. One 45 minute visit with maximum of two visitors at 4:15 pm on Friday and another visit, same parameters, 4:30 pm on Sunday.

With good time, she may complete her four month sentence from Calhoun County by the middle of March. But it has got to be a drag sitting in the Victoria County Jail. She can't even get any books to read! The Harris County Green Party sent her a card with 26 signatures and short messages on it. It would probably be a good idea to encourage as many people as possible to write and send cards to cheer her up. Her mailing address is:

I would appreciate knowing if Diane Wilson can receive any small comforts
such as toiletries or food. I know some people, as well as I, who would
like to send her some things. But we don't want to send something that
would be denied her.

she will be there or if she can receive gfts ?
