Cheney-DeLay protest - Dec. 5

You've probably seen some of the postings on this list or others
about Dick Cheney coming to Houston (Westin Oaks in the Houston
Galleria) next Monday evening, Dec. 5, to raise funds for his
favorite buddy in Congress, our local boy gone bad Tom DeLay.

There has been a flurry of e-mails off of this list regarding
organizing a big protest, and there is a lot of interest. I'll post
more details here once we figure out what's gong to happen. In the
meantime, please mark your calendars for a protest at the Galleria
next Monday evening if you'd like to participate. It should be fun,
even if we decide to do most of the protest out by the street. (No
details are decided yet.)

Question -- is it OK with y'all to list PAA as a co-sponsor? We need
to decide pretty quick. We'll stress that this is a peaceful and
non-violent protest, of course, although I can't promise much else.
Different groups may be doing different things, but we'll try to
coordinate as much as possible given the short time for planning.

Bill

Yes, I think PAA should sponsor this protest.
We have the momentum. Let's keep it going.  I will be there.
Peace,
Bob
